Scott Cooke is president and chief executive officer of Toyota Financial Services (TFS), overseeing the entirety  the company’s operational and financial activities. Toyota Financial Services is the brand for finance and related products for Toyota in the United States, offering retail auto financing and leasing through Toyota Motor Credit Corporation (TMCC) and Toyota Lease Trust. TFS also offers vehicle and payment protection products through Toyota Motor Insurance Services (TMIS). The company services Lexus dealers and customers using the Lexus Financial Services brand. Cooke serves on the board of directors of Toyota Motor Credit Corporation and on the Toyota Financial Services International Corporation management committee.

Prior to his current position, Cooke served as TFS senior vice president and chief financial officer. In that role, Cooke was responsible for the overall financial management of the company. This included leading the teams for TFS accounting, TFS finance, TFS and Toyota Motor North America (TMNA) treasury, as well as the TFS competitiveness and mergers & acquisitions functions. Before that, Cooke was group vice president of risk, dealer credit, and information security. He served as chief risk officer for the TFS Americas Region, responsible for establishing and implementing risk-based policies and metrics for TFS affiliates in Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Venezuela.

Cooke joined TFS in June 2003, as director of market risk, economic capital, and international treasury, responsible for the oversight of interest rate, liquidity, basis, and counterparty credit risk. He became head of strategic planning and competitive intelligence, and was later promoted to corporate manager, business intelligence. He subsequently worked for the office of the chief information officer, and then served as corporate manager in dealer credit. In addition, Cooke was corporate manager of product planning for Toyota Motor Sales.

Cooke earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and MBA from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, and is an alumnus of the Harvard Business School in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
