Toyota Invests in EV Charging Network IONNA to Enhance Charging Access for Customers
PLANO, Texas and RALEIGH DURHAM, North Carolina (July 10, 2024) – IONNA and Toyota Motor North America (Toyota) today announced that Toyota has joined seven other automakers as an investor in IONNA to support the buildout of its high-powered charging network for battery electric vehicles (BEVs) across North America. This allows Toyota and Lexus customers access to the public network of DC fast chargers IONNA will begin deploying later this year. IONNA plans to install at least 30,000 charging ports in North America by 2030, and stations will include both NACS and CCS connectors to support all BEV drivers.

Toyota Supports Relief Efforts for Hurricane Beryl and Other Recent Natural Disasters
PLANO, Texas (July 9, 2024) – Toyota Motor North America and Toyota Financial Services announced efforts to assist those suffering from the impacts of Hurricane Beryl and other recent natural disasters across the country. Toyota contributes annually to The American Red Cross and SBP, and these funds are utilized to support recovery efforts when disasters strike around the nation. To further assist affected communities, Toyota is matching contributions for donations made by U.S.-based employees to support The American Red Cross, SBP and other eligible nonprofits.

Toyota Motor North America Reports U.S. June and First Half 2024 Sales Results
PLANO, Texas (July 2, 2024) – Toyota Motor North America (TMNA) reported U.S. June sales of 193,120 vehicles, down 1.2 percent on a volume and daily selling rate (DSR) basis versus June 2023. June electrified vehicle sales totaled 84,781, up 64.5 percent on a volume basis and DSR basis, representing 43.9 percent of total monthly sales.
