To help Toyota Tribal College Scholarship Recipient Erika Torres-Hernandez and other Native American students earn an education in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc. announces it is donating $1 million to the American Indian College Fund (the College Fund) on Oct. 15, 2014.

The first 25 Rhode Island families, all first-generation Americans, graduate from the latest evolution in family learning programs and celebrate their accomplishment at the Cranston Portuguese Club on June 12, 2014. Dorcas International Institute of Rhode Island launched the program in Providence with a $175,000 grant awarded by the National Center for Families Learning and Toyota.
