Toyota Research Institute Announces Machine Learning Advances at the International Conference on Computer Vision
LOS ALTOS, Calif. (October 11, 2021) — Today, the Toyota Research Institute (TRI) announced the acceptance of six research papers in the field of machine learning at the International Conference on Computer Vision (ICCV). The research advances understanding across various tasks crucial for robotic perception, including semantic segmentation, 3D object detection and multi-object tracking.

PLANO, Texas (October 1, 2021) – Toyota Motor North America (TMNA) today reported U.S. September 2021 sales of 152,916 vehicles, a decrease of 22.4 percent on a volume and daily selling rate (DSR) basis versus September 2020. U.S. September 2021 sales of alternative powered vehicles (APVs), including hybrids, plug-in hybrids and fuel cells totaled 42,945 vehicles, up 36 percent on a volume and DSR basis, representing 28.1 percent of total monthly sales.
