Driving Diversity Forward
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (Nov. 19, 2014) – John Stallworth, Liz Hurley, Lee Marshall and Dr. Helen McAlpine are just a few of the Huntsville area speakers who participated in a diversity focused event Nov.13 at Toyota Alabama. More than 20 representatives from Toyota affiliates across North America traveled to Huntsville to attend the annual event. Toyota Alabama also donated $2,000 to each of the speakers’ affiliated non-profit organizations, including the John Stallworth Foundation, Kids to Love, J.F. Drake State Technical College Foundation and the Liz Hurley Breast Cancer Fund.

TORRANCE, Calif., November 18, 2014 — The 2015 Tundra TRD Pro Desert Race Truck not only raced for over 1,200 miles to a first place finish at the 47th Tecate SCORE Baja 1000, it was also driven an additional 1,000 miles back to the start line of the race. The Toyota team was first to the finish line in its “Full Stock” class, led by team coach and legendary Toyota off-road racer Ivan “Ironman” Stewart, and piloted by Toyota engineers and Toyota athletes.

NEW YORK – Nov. 18, 2014 – Nickelodeon and Toyota have partnered to transform everyone’s porous pal into a new 3-D concept car based on Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies’ upcoming film, The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water. The SpongeBob Movie 2015 Toyota Sienna features a custom three-dimensional SpongeBob SquarePants exterior, complete with the character’s Superhero Incredibubble mask that blows real bubbles at the top of the car. The interior features seating inspired by each of SpongeBob’s Bikini Bottom pals, along with a wood-grain dashboard, a custom Captain’s steering wheel, a blue-sky head liner and a sand-inspired floor. The one-of-a-kind vehicle will be unveiled on Nov. 18 at the LA Auto Show and will then roll out on a cross-country promotional tour leading up to The SpongeBob Movie’s Feb. 6, 2015 premiere.
