Toyota City, Japan, October 6, 2015 -- Toyota has been testing a new automated driving test vehicle called Highway Teammate, with the aim of launching related products by around 2020. In addition to demonstrating the capabilities of next-generation safety technologies, the vehicle represents Toyota's view of the evolving driver-car relationship in the age of artificial intelligence.
Toyota Remains Most Valuable Global Automotive Brand According to Interbrand
Plano, Texas (Oct. 6, 2015) – Riding the wave of twelve new or refreshed products introduced in 2015, Toyota once again earned the title of the most valuable automotive brand in the world, according to Interbrand's 2015 “Best Global Brands” annual report. The company’s ranking jumped to number six, up two spots from the 2014 report. Interbrand estimated Toyota’s 2015 brand value at $49 billion, up 16 percent, another record achievement.

SALINE, Mich., Oct. 6, 2015 – After an incident-free 2014 Rally America season, the 2015 season has been a bit more challenging for the Toyota Technical Center Rally Team (TTCRT). A blown engine in the first miles of the first stage at the Susquehannock Trail Performance Rally (STPR) in June sidelined the team for the remainder of the event. It also kept them out of the biggest event of the season, the New England Forrest Rally (NEFR).
World Debut of Scion Concept Car at L.A. Auto Show
TORRANCE, Calif. (Oct. 6, 2015) – Following the recent introduction of the Scion iM 5-door hatchback and the sporty Scion iA sedan, the youth division of Toyota is preparing to further expand its lineup with a third all-new vehicle. The world debut of the next Scion concept will take place at the Los Angeles Auto Show, Nov. 18-19, 2015.
