Toyota No. 1 Retail Brand in April 2016
TORRANCE, Calif. (May 3, 2016) – Toyota Motor Sales (TMS), U.S.A., Inc., today reported April 2016 sales of 211,125 units, an increase of 3.8 percent from April 2015 on a volume basis. With one more selling day in April 2016 compared to April 2015, sales were flat (zero percent) on a daily selling rate (DSR) basis.

Today Toyota and Discovery Education, the leading provider of digital content and professional development for K-12 classrooms, announced that the Sherwood High School students of Montgomery County Public Schools in Olney, Md. The collaboration marks the continuation of the automaker’s athlete sponsorship model launched in 2006, and secures Toyota as Kim’s exclusive automotive partner. CAA Sports arranged the deal with Toyota on behalf of its client Chloe Kim.
Toyota and VH1 Save The Music Help Music Education Get a Second Spin
Torrance, Calif. (April 27, 2016) – Last fall Toyota and VH1 Save The Music Foundation brought music education to LaPlace Elementary, a New Orleans area school. This year they will do the same for another deserving school.
