Busch Sweeps Bristol, while Toyota wins in NHRA, USAC

PLANO, Texas, August 16, 2017 – Toyota and Servco Pacific Inc. (Servco) have partnered to test a new car-sharing technology in Honolulu. The suite of software and services is an important part of Toyota’s Mobility Services Platform (MSPF) which will offer various functions to enable a more convenient mobility experience. When the employee-only pilot testing program concludes, Servco, the distributor of Toyota vehicles in Hawaii, will use the car-sharing technology to launch a new Honolulu-based car share business by the end of 2017.
Midweek Action Starts Toyota Race Week
The NASCAR race week starts Wednesday night with a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway where Kyle Busch will attempt another weekend sweep at the heralded Tennessee track.

TOKYO, (Aug. 10, 2017) -- DENSO Corporation, Ericsson, Intel Corporation, Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (NTT), NTT DOCOMO, INC., Toyota InfoTechnology Center Co., Ltd. and Toyota Motor Corporation today announced that they have initiated the formation of the Automotive Edge Computing Consortium. The objective of the consortium is to develop an ecosystem for connected cars to support emerging services such as intelligent driving, the creation of maps with real-time data and driving assistance based on cloud computing.
