David Rosier is president of Toyota Motor Manufacturing West Virginia (Toyota West Virginia) located in Buffalo, West Virginia. Rosier is responsible for all manufacturing and administrative functions at the plant. Toyota West Virginia manufactures 4-cylinder engines for Corolla and RAV4, as well as 2.4L turbo engines for Lexus RX, Lexus NX and Highlander. In addition, the plant manufactures 6-speed automatic transmissions for Camry, RAV4 and Lexus ES, as well as hybrid transmissions for Highlander, Sienna, Lexus RX and Lexus NX.
Prior to this assignment, Rosier served as Head of Powertrain at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky where he led safety, manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, quality, production control and internal logistics.
With more than 19 years of experience at Toyota, Rosier has held several leadership positions including administration, quality, production control, logistics, manufacturing, accounting and finance, and HR.
Rosier received his undergraduate degree in Economics/Finance and Business Administration at Findlay College in Findlay, Ohio, and a M.S. in Strategic Leadership from the University of Charleston, in Charleston, West Virginia.
Rosier currently serves as a board member for the Education Alliance and The West Virginia State University Board of Visitors.
