PLANO, Texas (August 8, 2024) — Toyota is conducting a safety recall involving certain Lexus UX 300h produced in January 2024. Approximately 140 vehicles in the United States are involved in this recall.

In the subject vehicles, certain hybrid power system wires could wear over time and separate completely, causing a loss of motive power. A loss of motive power while driving at higher speeds can increase the risk of a crash.

For all involved vehicles, Lexus dealers will replace the engine room main wire harness with a new one, free of charge.

Customers will be notified about this issue by early October 2024.

Information about automotive recalls, including but not limited to the list of involved vehicles, is current as of today’s filing date and is subject to change thereafter. To see if your vehicle is involved in a safety recall visit Toyota.com/recall or nhtsa.gov/recalls and enter your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) or license plate information.

For any additional questions, Lexus customer support is available by calling the Lexus Brand Engagement Center (1-800-255-3987).
