Toyota Eclipses 10 Million in Camry Sales
TORRANCE, Calif. (July 2, 2013) – Toyota Motor Sales (TMS), U.S.A., Inc., today reported 10 million sales of its Toyota Camry, America’s top-selling car for the past 11 years, representing nearly 20 percent of all the vehicles Toyota has ever sold in the U.S. This milestone comes the same year Camry celebrates its 30 year anniversary in the U.S.

TORRANCE, Calif. (July 2, 2013) Toyota Motor Sales (TMS), U.S.A., Inc., today reported June 2013 sales results of 195,235 units, an increase of 14 percent over June 2012 on a daily selling rate (DSR) basis. On a raw-volume basis, unadjusted for 26 selling days in June 2013 versus 27 selling days in June 2012, TMS sales increased 9.8 percent from the year-ago month.
For the first half of the year, TMS reported sales of 1,108,791 units. With 153 selling days in the first half of 2013 versus 154 selling days during the same period in 2012, sales were up 6.7 percent on a DSR basis. Unadjusted, sales were up 6 percent year-over-year.
Eight Toyota Manufacturing Facilities Recognized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for Improved Environmental Performance

(July 25, 2012) – The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has recognized eight Toyota manufacturing sites in North America for achieving a ten percent reduction in energy intensity through its ENERGY STAR Challenge For Industry program. Collectively, these eight sites have reduced energy intensity by nearly 24 percent from baseline.
