ROV-S (SIPI Mars Rover) was fully designed, developed, and manufactured at the SIPI I-C-MARS VIP ROSE STEMS Engineering and Engineering Technology Laboratories.ROV-S is capable of operating in both semi-autonomous and fully autonomous modes. ROV-S is capable of process sing sequence of commands stated in a number of Native American languages and it can converse in American English using Amazon Alexa!

Toyota Motor North America achieved LEED Platinum from the U.S. Green Building Council for green building techniques, such as sustainable landscaping. Exterior landscaping features drought-tolerant, North Texas indigenous plants like savannah, oaklands and wildflower meadows.  

Toyota achieved LEED Platinum from the U.S. Green Building Council for green building techniques at Toyota’s new headquarters campus in Plano, Texas. The 8.79-megawatt solar array provides up to 33 percent of daily electric needs for the campus and moves Toyota closer to achieving its global challenge to eliminate carbon emissions from all operations.

Toyota, VH1 Save The Music Foundation and Life is Beautiful Music & Art Festival, joined by GRAMMY-winning rock band Imagine Dragons, presented three Las Vegas area schools with a $40,000 music education grant that will provide music instruments to enhance each school’s music programs and expand student participation.

Toyota announced a $1 million donation to the National Center for Families Learning (NCFL) to help break generational poverty through family literacy in the Washington, DC area and Northern Alabama. This new donation brings Toyota’s investment in NCFL to $50 million over its 28-year partnership. In that time, more than 4 million parents and children in 38 states have been impacted by Toyota Family Learning programs.
