Kris Pritchard is group vice president of risk and indirect procurement shared services of Toyota Financial Services (TFS). In this role, he oversees the full span of consumer and commercial credit risk, residual value risk, enterprise and operational risk for the company’s operations in the United States, and the indirect procurement team for TFS and Toyota Motor North America (TMNA).
Previously, Pritchard served as vice president and chief risk officer where he was credited with helping to manage the company’s credit and residual risk exposure. He also managed key elements of the company’s residual value risk, dealer risk, and enterprise risk management functions. Additionally, he led the teams in charge of model governance and IT risk, as well as data science.
Pritchard joined TFS in 2016, after more than a decade with BMW Financial Services, where he held a variety of auto finance risk management roles. Over the course of his career, Pritchard has worked in several countries, directing residual value, commercial, and retail credit risk management activities.
Pritchard received a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in Marketing from James Madison University. He received a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Information Systems from Bentley College.
