Toyota Boosts 2023 Corolla with Four New Hybrid Models, AWD, New Multimedia and Safety Tech, and Freshened Styling
The Toyota Corolla rolls into 2023 a changed car, and customers are bound to love what they see and drive. The line expands with four new Hybrid grades, including a more powerful hybrid system and available all-wheel drive.

Toyota Celebrates the Pure Sports Car with 2023 GR86 Special Edition
Toyota is celebrating the pure fun of sports car driving with a limited-edition GR86 for 2023. The second-generation GR86, introduced for 2022, made headlines with a significant jump in power over the first-gen model, along with a more stirring design and tighter handling, all while keeping weight low and the price affordable.
Built on the GR86 Premium grade, the 2023 GR86 Special Edition will leave an unforgettable visual impression with its Solar Shift orange paint color, which is exclusive to this model. Toyota GR Corolla Goes Wild with MORIZO Edition

Toyota’s GR Cup Set to Debut Under SRO Banner in 2023
Earlier this spring, Toyota Gazoo Racing North America (TGRNA) announced the formation of the GR Cup, Toyota’s all-new single make racing series. Beginning with the 2023 season, the GR Cup will be sanctioned by SRO America, the established leader in GT racing for the past 30 years. The GR Cup will offer affordable competition in 14 events over seven prestigious circuits across the United States. This new racing series will help reinforce and validate the track inspired engineering bred into every Toyota GR vehicle.

Toyota Connected ‘Cabin Awareness’ Concept Uses New Tech to Detect Occupants
Toyota Connected North America, an independent software and innovation center of excellence, introduced its Cabin Awareness concept technology that uses millimeter-wave, high-resolution 4D imaging radar to help detect occupants (including certain pets) in cars and has the potential to detect them if ever they’re left behind.
The Cabin Awareness concept takes a unique approach to in-vehicle occupant detection using a 4D imaging radar sensor, mounted out of sight above a vehicle’s headliner that can detect presence of a life form in the vehicle, even after a driver exits.

Toyota Combines ‘Autonomous’ with ‘Mobility-as-a-Service’ in Sienna Autono-MaaS
Toyota announced that its Michigan-based production development teams have been modifying Indiana-produced 2022 Sienna minivans, adding a vehicle control interface, to create a new vehicle platform compatible with third-party autonomous driving kits and sensors (“Autono”) for use in Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) applications. The resulting vehicle is called the Toyota Sienna Autono-MaaS, or S-AM. The company started delivery of the completed FMVSS-compliant vehicles to customers Aurora Innovation and May Mobility from the fall of 2021, and demonstrations of the vehicle by these customers of various autonomous mobility services are already in progress.

The Toyota 4Runner will reach the 40-year mark with the 2023 model year… and, to celebrate, Toyota is offering a distinctive 4WD-only 2023 4Runner 40th Anniversary Special Edition. Appropriately, Toyota will make 4,040 of these special editions available for the U.S. market. Over the past four decades, 4Runner has amassed more than 4 million cumulative sales while carving out its place as the ready-for-anything SUV that’s equally at home on pavement or trail.

Toyota Marks 25th Anniversary of Sienna with Special Limited Edition
The 2023 Toyota Sienna marks the model’s first quarter-century of success and celebrates with a limited-availability 25th Anniversary Edition. Based on the sport-infused XSE grade, the special model gains additional luxury cabin features from the Limited grade and adds exclusive exterior and interior trim. Toyota will build just 2,525 of these models for the U.S., making this a “gotta have it” minivan.
