Toyota Motor Sales Reports 13.3 Percent Increase in February
TORRANCE, Calif. (March 3, 2015) – Toyota, Scion and Lexus today reported total February 2015 sales results of 180,467 units, an increase of 13.3 percent from February 2014 on a volume basis.

Recently, the Toyota Sienna and RAV4, both with available AWD, along with some leading competitors in their respective segments, completed certified testing in snow and ice conditions by notable third-party organization AMCI. The certified tests revealed the Sienna minivan and RAV4 compact SUV performed significantly better in the areas of acceleration, traction, and handling on snowy and icy road conditions when equipped with AWD. In fact, the certified testing results showed the Sienna AWD performed substantially better than other front-wheel-drive competitors in its segment and equal cornering performance on both ice and snow as a competing popular mid-size SUV equipped with four-wheel-drive!
Toyota Motor Sales’ Lexus Brand Achieves Grand Slam as Most Dependable Brand Four Consecutive Years
TORRANCE, Calif., Feb. 25, 2015 – Game, set, and match. The Lexus brand captured a grand slam by ranking highest in vehicle dependability among all nameplates for a fourth consecutive year in the 2015 J.D. Power and Associates Vehicle Dependability Study (VDS). Toyota Motor Sales totaled seven vehicle segment awards. The study measures the number of owner-reported problems of 2012 model year vehicles in their third-year of ownership.

Tokyo, Feb. 25, 2015 -- Starting in April, Park24 Co., Ltd. and Toyota Motor Corporation will trial a car sharing service in central Tokyo using the Toyota i-ROAD, an ultra-compact three-wheeled electric vehicle. The i-ROAD, designed for flexibility and ease of use, will be paired with Park24's "Times Car Plus" service, which allows members to use share cars at any time of day or night. The trial will also incorporate elements from Toyota's "Ha:mo" optimized urban transport system.
