Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Alabama (TMMAL), employs more than 2,000 team members and builds more than 3,000 engines each day. Producing one-third of Toyota’s engines in the U.S. at its 1.3 million-square-foot facility, TMMAL is the only plant to build four-cylinder, V-6 and twin-turbo under one roof. TMMAL powers popular Toyota vehicles like the Highlander, Sienna, RAV4, Corolla, Corolla Cross, Tundra, Tacoma and Sequoia.

  • A $49 million solar array, in partnership with Huntsville Utilities and Toyota Tsusho, will supply more than 70 percent of the plant's energy needs when completed
  • Grants of up to $6.7 million to help prepare Huntsville City Schools’ students for future careers in science, technology, engineering and math. The grants are part of Toyota’s Driving Possibilities initiative and is a five-year phased rollout of programming in select schools
