Srini Matam is president of Toyota Motor Manufacturing West Virginia, Inc. (TMMWV) located in Buffalo, West Virginia. Matam is responsible for all manufacturing and administrative functions. TMMWV manufactures 4-cylinder engines for the Corolla and V6 engines for the Highlander and Sienna. In addition, the plant manufactures 6-speed automatic transmissions for the Avalon, Camry, Highlander, RAV4, Sienna, and Lexus ES 350.
Prior to his role as president, Matam served as the general manager of the Drivetrain Division at TMMWV, where he led manufacturing of drivetrains, producing high- and mid-torque transmissions and gear manufacturing. With more than 19 years of experience with Toyota, Matam has served in various general manager roles, including manufacturing of engines and axles, quality, human resources, supply chain business process and systems, purchasing systems, and manufacturing skills training.
Matam serves on the Board of Governors for Bridge Valley Community and Technical College and currently serves as the Executive Sponsor for two of TMMWV’s Business Partnering Groups: Toyota Veteran’s Association and Young Professionals. He received a Master of Science in Technology and Production Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Kharagpur, India.
