PLANO, Texas (Oct. 14, 2026) — Toyota is conducting a safety recall involving certain model year 2024-2027 Land Cruiser models. Approximately 106,000 vehicles are involved in this recall in the U.S.
A fuel tube connection near the fuel tank on the subject vehicles could become disconnected, allowing fuel to leak until the engine in the hybrid system shuts off. A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.
All known owners of the subject vehicles will be notified to return their vehicle to a Toyota dealer. Dealers will inspect the connection and install a supplemental clamp at this connection to prevent it from disconnecting or, if necessary, replace the resin fuel tube and install the clamp, at no cost.
Owners of involved vehicles will be notified by mid-December 2026.
