PARIS (Aug. 5, 2024) – Caeleb Dressel took home a silver medal in the men’s swimming 4x100m medley relay at the Olympic Games Paris 2024. Dressel ran the butterfly leg of the relay, posting a 49.41 time in his swim. The U.S. team came home second with a total time of 3:28.01.

Dressel also claimed another Olympic gold medal with Team USA’s triumph in the 4×100 mixed medley relay on Saturday after his participation in the semifinals.

“I wouldn’t have changed anything about this week,” Dressel said. “I had a lot of fun before the races. Could’ve had a little more after the races if I swam a little quicker. But it was a really fun time with these guys and girls (his U.S. Swimming teammates).”

After winning gold in men’s 4x100m freestyle relay earlier in the games, Dressel added to his already astounding career with these two medals. The Floridian is one of the most decorated U.S. swimmers in history, now with nine gold medals and his first silver. The 27-year-old medaled in three of his five events during the Olympic Games Paris 2024.
