Taku Chikazawa is group vice president and treasurer of Toyota Financial Services (TFS) USA and also serves as deputy CEO of the Toyota Financial Services Americas Oceania Region. In this role, Chikazawa provides executive direction over a range of the company’s business operations in the United States, acting as a primary liaison with the corporate parent in Japan. He also oversees a wide spectrum of operational aspects for Toyota sales finance companies in the Americas Oceania Region.

Chikazawa started his career at Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) in Japan in 1991 and served in a number of roles in the accounting and finance divisions. In addition to hands-on experience in financial markets, including funding, fund management, lending, and foreign exchange transactions, he also worked on accounting operations such as financial reporting, taxation, corporate restructuring, and new business development. Before the establishment of Toyota Financial Services Corporation (TFSC), he was also involved in the global expansion team for Toyota’s sales finance companies.

From 2010 to 2014, Chikazawa worked at Toyota Motor Sales USA as vice president of accounting, finance and administration. Upon returning to Japan, he rejoined TMC’s finance division, where he oversaw the overall financial operations, including insurance. While focusing on global treasury management, he strengthened collaboration with TFSC. Prior to returning to the United States in 2025, he held the position of General Manager of TMC’s finance division.

Chikazawa earned his Bachelor of Economics degree from Nagoya University in Japan.
