David Rosier serves as group vice president of Region 5 for Toyota Motor North America. In this role Rosier will oversee Region 5, which includes Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Mississippi (Toyota Mississippi) and Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Alabama (Toyota Alabama).
Rosier also serves as president of Toyota Motor Manufacturing, West Virginia (Toyota West Virginia) located in Buffalo, West Virginia. Rosier is responsible for all manufacturing and administrative functions at the plant. Toyota West Virginia manufactures 4-cylinder engines for the Lexus NX and Toyota RAV4, as well as 2.4L turbo engines for the Lexus RX, and Toyota Highlander. In addition, the plant manufactures 8-speed automatic transmissions for the Highlander and Lexus RX, as well as hybrid transmissions for the Highlander, Sienna, Camry, Corolla Cross, Lexus RX and Lexus NX.
Prior to this assignment, Rosier served as head of Powertrain at Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Kentucky where he led safety, manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, quality, production control and internal logistics.
With more than 19 years of experience at Toyota, Rosier has held several leadership positions including administration, quality, production control, logistics, manufacturing, accounting, finance and HR.
Rosier received his undergraduate degree in Economics/Finance and Business Administration at Findlay College in Findlay, Ohio, and a M.S. in Strategic Leadership from the University of Charleston, in Charleston, West Virginia.
Rosier currently serves as a board member for the Education Alliance , the West Virginia State University Board of Visitors and the University of Charleston’s President’s Advisory Council.
