About Toyota Logistics Services (TLS): | Established in 1976, Toyota Logistics Services (TLS), a subsidiary of Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc., manages Toyota, Lexus, and Scion vehicle logistics operations, planning, and administration. |
Purpose: | TLS is responsible for processing and distributing import and domestic product sold within the United States. This includes partnerships with eight North American Class I railroads, 12 trucking companies, 10 ocean carriers, and management of approximately 4,200 routes. TLS is also responsible for inbound vehicle logistics for Mexico, and U.S. exports of vehicles produced in North America to 34 countries worldwide. TLS manages Toyota Transport, Toyota?s in-house vehicle transportation trucking company, which delivers vehicles in nine Western states. |
