Why would a Toyota engineer start beehives at work? For David Myers, it began with a personal passion and grew into something much bigger: a chance to share the wonder of honeybees with team members and spark curiosity about the natural world.
Myers takes viewers inside the hive to show what makes honeybees so remarkable — from finding the queen to understanding how bees build, gather, and thrive together. Honeybees may be small, but their impact goes well beyond the hive. As beneficial pollinators, they help support Toyota’s broader environmental efforts, including a goal to protect or restore 62,000 acres of land through the Toyota Environmental Challenge 2050.
