PARIS (Sept. 4, 2024) – For the second time in three days, Ezra Frech won a gold medal at the Paralympic Games Paris 2024, this time in the Men’s T63 High Jump Tuesday evening at Stade de France. Frech cleared the 1.94m bar in the final round, breaking the Paralympic record of 1.88m and nearly his world record of 1.97m to claim his second Paralympic gold in these games.

“Getting to win this gold in front of my family and friends meant so much to me,” Frech said. “I had 60-plus people come all the way out here to watch me compete. I was not going to give them a bad experience.”

On Monday, Frech won his first Paralympic gold medal in the Men’s Track T63 100m in a time of 12.06 seconds. Departing from Paris, the 19-year-old leaves with two gold medals and additional accolades to an already-astounding career to-date.
