Available in SE and XSE grades, the 2027 Corolla Hatchback continues to offer a sporty, well-equipped lineup with a modern edge. The SE grade now comes standard with a 7-inch digital gauge cluster, while the XSE adds a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster and a 10.5-inch Toyota Audio Multimedia system as standard equipment.

For an even more elevated experience, the new SE Premium Package bundles the 10.5-inch Toyota Audio Multimedia system with the 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster.

On the outside, Toyota Genuine accessory 18-inch gloss white alloy wheels are now available*, adding a sharp, sporty accent to the vehicle’s design. Updated exterior color offerings also join the 2027 Corolla Hatchback lineup with Inked, Blueprint and Blueprint with Black Roof expanding the available palette.

The 2027 Toyota Corolla Hatchback is expected to arrive at Toyota dealerships this summer. The Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price, excluding Dealer Processing and Handling, starts at $24,780.

Outstanding Driving Experience

Assembled at the Tsutsumi Plant in Aichi, Japan, the 2027 Corolla Hatchback sits on the TNGA-C platform. A solid structure, low center of gravity and highly refined tuning of the MacPherson® strut front and multi-link rear suspensions endow Corolla Hatchback with agile handling, ride comfort and a distinctive driving personality.

Under the hood, the Corolla Hatchback is powered by a 2.0-liter Dynamic Force four-cylinder DOHC 16-valve engine. Equipped with Dual Variable Valve Timing with intelligence (VVT-i), it produces 169 horsepower and 151 pound-feet of torque. The Corolla Hatchback also has impressive efficiency, with manufacturer-estimated fuel economy ratings of 32 mpg city, 41 mpg highway and 35 mpg combined on the SE.

The Corolla Hatchback features a standard Dynamic Shift continuously variable transmission (CVT) that delivers a distinct performance feel thanks to a physical launch gear for off-the-line acceleration before seamlessly handing off to the CVT’s pulley system. Combined with enhanced sport mode tuning, all grades come standard with paddle shifters that allow drivers to engage 10 pre-set ratios for a sporty driving experience.

Drivers can further tailor the Corolla Hatchback’s driving character with NORMAL, ECO and SPORT drive modes.

Exterior
Corolla Hatchback’s bold look begins with a rounded, muscular physique accented by chiseled character lines and simple, condensed three-dimensional highlights. Combined with 16- or 18-inch alloy tires, including newly available Toyota Genuine accessory 18-inch gloss white alloy wheels, the Hatchback presents an active, well-planted shape and attitude.

Slim, aggressive LED headlamps wrap into the front fenders and give Corolla Hatchback a distinct expression. The LED taillamps feature a diffusing inner lens designed to highlight the Hatchback’s stout stance. The XSE features LED fog lights on the front fascia accented by chrome-finished fog bezels.

Exterior color options include Blueprint, Inferno, Inked, Classic Silver Metallic, Finish Line Red, Magnetic Gray Metallic, Wind Chill Pearl and Ice Cap. Two-tone black roof color combinations are also available with Blueprint, Classic Silver Metallic, Finish Line Red, Magnetic Gray Metallic and Windchill Pearl.

Interior
Inside, the Corolla Hatchback has a comfortable and spacious cabin with quality materials, designed with a focus on comfort. In the SE grade, there is a standard 6-way adjustable fabric driver’s seat and a 4-way adjustable front passenger seat. The XSE grade has a standard SofTex®-trimmed 8-way power-adjustable front driver’s seat and a 4-way adjustable front passenger seat, both of which are heated.

Intuitive Multimedia and Connectivity

Technology and convenience remain front and center, with Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 standard across all grades, as well as wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ compatibility.

The 2027 Corolla Hatchback comes standard with an 8-inch touchscreen featuring Toyota Audio Multimedia, dual Bluetooth® phone connectivity and a six-speaker audio system.

Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert is standard on all grades. It is designed to help detect and warn drivers of vehicles approaching or positioned in adjacent lanes. Rear Cross-Traffic Alert helps detect vehicles approaching from either side while backing out and provides visual and audible warnings.

Limited Warranty and ToyotaCare
Toyota’s 36-month/36,000 mile basic new-vehicle warranty applies to all components other than normal wear and maintenance items. Additional 60-month warranties cover the powertrain for 60,000 miles and corrosion with no mileage limitation.

The Corolla Hatchback also comes standard with ToyotaCare, a maintenance plan that covers normal factory-scheduled service for one year or 10,000 miles, whichever comes first, and 24-hour roadside assistance for two years, unlimited mileage.
