What’s the best thing about working with your children?
Sherlon Moore: It’s knowing they’re part of a company I’ve grown up in and loved for 27 years.
It brings me immense peace to see them walk through the halls of this great company, knowing they’re in good hands. They will have the same stability I’ve experienced here, in a place that respects its people and provides a supportive environment where they can truly grow their careers.
Sharing this journey with them feels incredibly rewarding, knowing they have a strong foundation to build their futures on.
What’s the best memory you have of working with your children?
My greatest work memories are the days I was sitting at my desk working and my children called to tell me they had officially been hired by Toyota! The joy and pride I felt in those moments was incredible because I know Toyota runs through their blood! LOL!
My husband and I were so happy and proud of our children, seeing them take that important step into a company that means so much to our family.

What’s the best thing about working with your mom?
Jordan Moore: Getting to meet all the people she’s connected with during her 27 years at Toyota, and thanks to her networking I’m able to build rapport with those same individuals.
Raelon Moore: The greatest part of working alongside my mom is creating the same memories and relationships she’s built during her 27 years with the Toyota family.
I now have the opportunity to learn, grow and broaden my network with the hope of establishing my own lasting connections for over 20 years.
What’s your best memory of your mom at work?
Jordan Moore: The Toyota family days in California and here in Texas.
Raelon Moore: Attending the family days Toyota hosted at the corporate campuses and Universal Studios Hollywood. I always eagerly anticipated these company family events because they made me feel truly honored to be part of the Toyota family.

What’s the best thing about working at Toyota with your son?
Kelli Thomas: Watching his skills grow before my eyes has been very rewarding! From being an advanced maintenance technician (AMT) to a team leader in maintenance, to now working with Seibi. I am so proud of Dante’s journey here at Toyota Alabama.
What’s your greatest work memory with your son?
Watching Dante graduate from the AMT program is one of the greatest memories I have of him here at Toyota. He worked three days a week and went to college two days a week. Watching him balance work and school to graduate with honors is a memory I will always cherish.
What’s the best thing about working with your mom?
Dante Thomas: The best thing about working with my mom is getting to see her every day and share simple moments like eating breakfast together. It makes work feel more personal and gives me something to look forward to everyday.
Greatest work memory with your mom?
My greatest work memory is watching my mom transition from a team member to a group leader. It was inspiring to see her grow as an individual and step into a leadership role through hard work and dedication.
