Designed by Calty Design Research (CALTY) in their Newport Beach, Calif and Ann Arbor, MI studios, the designers’ goal was to optimize function while also delivering a bold, provocative design – expanding the definition of what the fourth generation Toyota Sienna should be.

Based on the TNGA-K platform, an extended wheelbase and lowered height along with a lowered floor allows for an aggressive, sleek silhouette while maintaining interior volume and leg room in the places that matter most.

The front design was inspired by the iconic Shinkanzen Japanese bullet train to appear sleek, speedy and confident.

The headlights are mounted high and stretched around to the sides as if they are being shaped by the wind.

From the side profile, the 2021 Sienna has almost a teardrop-like shape towards the rear. This helps with styling as well as the aerodynamics of the vehicle.

The Platinum grade comes standard with signature Bi-LED Projector headlights and LED strip DRL with auto on/off feature.

The bold lower grille is contrasted by slim, high tech LED fog lights that are pushed to the corners, enhancing the wide and stable stance.

To optimize interior roominess while avoiding a boxy appearance, the rear cabin features a speedy pillar design that is dynamically angled forward.

The muscular wheel flares were designed to express athleticism while also complimenting the platinum grade’s standard 20” Clad Wheels.

The taillight flows seamlessly from the sculpted body to the rear, using thin bands of LED lighting to create a signature impression.

The integrated black taillight canard not only looks cool, but also improves aerodynamic performance.

The crisp, deeply sculpted tailgate with an integrated spoiler is made possible by a molded resin process.

Confident Cockpit

For the fourth generation model, the key terms used to redefine the 2021 Sienna experience were Confidence, Refinement, and Smart innovation.

Bridge Console

A departure from common minivan layouts, the bridge console is ergonomically positioned high between the driver and passenger for ease of use. This unique feature is the key to allocating personalized space to the driver and front passenger. The console was also designed specifically with edges to prevent small items from falling in between narrow spaces.

Power Tilt and Telescoping Heated Steering Wheel

A feature you might not expect, the 2021 Sienna Platinum grade comes standard with a power tilt and telescoping heated steering wheel with memory.

Convenience Features

The 2021 Sienna Platinum comes standard with convenience features such as Front and Rear parking Sonar, and Bird's Eye View Monitor. Also part of the drivers experience is a 10-in. color head-up display, controlled via voice recognition and steering wheel switch – projecting vital information at eye level, such as speed, navigation directions and TSS 2.0 functions.

Heated & Ventilated Front Seats

The Sienna Platinum grade features luxury materials throughout – including power leather-trimmed heated and ventilated front seats.

Plenty of USBs and Cup Holders

For Sienna, onboard connectivity is king. This includes seven USB ports, including this one strategically placed near the driver, as well as up to 18 cup holders. In short, this all-new vehicle offers all of the luxuries of a large SUV — with room for more.

Qi Wireless Charging

The center console also offers Qi wireless charging. Qi enabled devices are compatible with all Qi charging stations, thus eliminating the need for power cables. This technology allows you to charge your various Qi enabled battery operated electronic devices with a single charging station.

Digital Rearview Mirror with Integrated Backup Camera

Every driver could use a little magic now and then, and the Sienna has it with an available digital rear-view mirror. It functions as a standard mirror most of the time. But if rear-seat passengers or some cargo block the view to the rear, the touch of a switch makes all obstructions disappear, replaced by the camera’s image from behind the vehicle. The digital mirror also integrates a HomeLink® transceiver to conveniently operate garage doors and other compatible devices.
