Kevin Voelkel serves as senior vice president, manufacturing operations for Toyota Motor North America (TMNA), where he oversees 14 production sites across the U.S., Canada and Mexico.  These sites manufacture vehicles, engines, transmissions, castings, and advanced lithium-ion batteries for several Toyota products.

Voelkel’s mission-driven approach reflects a deep commitment to safety, quality, sustainability, and continuous improvement, which aligns directly with Toyota’s vision for excellence in automotive manufacturing.

Prior to his current role, Voelkel served as the group vice president of North American truck manufacturing at TMNA and president of Toyota Motor Manufacturing Texas (Toyota Texas), based in San Antonio, Texas.

Voelkel’s roles within the organization also included project general manager, environmental director and general manager of administration at Toyota Texas before taking an assignment with TMNA in 2015 in Plano, Texas. There he held dual positions as vice president of One Toyota Competitiveness and group manager of production strategy for TMNA.

Voelkel earned his bachelor’s degree from St. Edwards University in Austin, Texas.
