The Toyota Production System Support Center (TSSC) has partnered with the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center community hospital in Los Angeles for almost a decade to build a high-performing, high-engagement work culture to better serve their patients, staff and community.

One great example is the orthopedics clinic that performs complex surgeries for severe injuries that require months of rehabilitation treatment. The results from building a Toyota Production System (TPS) culture for orthopedics care were dramatic.
