Kenta Kon joined Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) in April of 1991.
Kon’s career started in the Accounting Division before he moved into the General Administration and Human Resources group where he served as deputy chief officer. He later returned to the Accounting Division where he became chief officer.
In April of 2020, Kon was appointed chief financial officer, and later became an operation officer and member of the board of directors. In April of 2023, he added responsibility as chief financial officer for Woven by Toyota where he played a key role in supporting the company’s efforts to advance TMC’s transformation into a mobility company.
In April of 2026, Kon became President of TMC.
Kon was born on August 2, 1968. He graduated from Tohoku University in 1991 with a degree in economics.
