Wes Woods is president of Toyota Motor Manufacturing in Missouri (TMMMO) and Tennessee (TMMTN). As president, Woods is responsible for all manufacturing and support functions at Toyota’s aluminum casting plants in Troy, Missouri, and Jackson, Tennessee. Founded in 1912, Bodine Aluminum, now TMMMO and TMMTN, was acquired by Toyota in 1990. The company produces four, six and eight-cylinder aluminum engine blocks, heads, and transmission housings to support all of Toyota’s North American manufacturing operations.

Woods has worked in the automotive manufacturing industry for 39 years, 20 of which have been with Toyota. Prior to his promotion to president, Woods served for three years as vice president of Toyota Bodine Aluminum. Woods was previously manufacturing general manager of Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Alabama, Inc., in Huntsville, Alabama. Woods was part of the initial leadership team that constructed and launched the Alabama plant in 2003. During his tenure, he led three major plant expansion projects and numerous new model changes.

Before joining Toyota, Woods was a plant manager with Parker Hannifin Corporation and spent 16 years with Cummins Engine Company.

Woods holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
