Ken Baruth is Vice President – Risk, Dealer Credit, and IT Security for Toyota Financial Services (TFS). He also serves as Global Chief Risk Officer for Toyota Financial Services Corporation (TFSC) Group, responsible for establishing and implementing risk-based policies and risk-based metrics for the 32 companies within the TFSC group. Baruth reports to TFS President and CEO, Mike Groff.
Baruth brings significant automotive captive finance expertise to the role, through his 34 years of experience working for Chrysler Credit, Ford Motor Credit, and TFS.
In his 27 years with TFS, Baruth has acquired extensive experience in operations, sales, and product development, as well as a strong leadership track record. He held a variety of positions; including Branch Manager in Boston and Los Angeles; and Regional Manager for both the company’s Central region and Western region, where he served until 2010. Baruth also functioned as Corporate Manager, overseeing product development and remarketing.
Baruth volunteers as a guest speaker at Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, California, where he is currently a member of the Board of Trustees and the finance committee. He is also active in supporting the Lazarian World Home Project, a non-profit dedicated to building homes throughout the world.
Baruth received his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Kansas State University.
