Lexus Ranks Highest in 2013 J.D. Power and Associates Vehicle Dependability Study for the 2nd Consecutive YearTORRANCE, Calif., Feb. 13, 2013 – Lexus ranked highest in vehicle dependability among all nameplates for a second consecutive year in the 2013 J.D. Power and Associates Vehicle Dependability Study (VDS). The study tracks the number and type of problems owners have with their three-year-old vehicles. In the study, Lexus RX had the fewest reported problems in the industry, which is the first time in the history of VDS that a crossover or SUV has achieved this accolade.(more) |

Lexus Takes Top Honors for the Second Year in a Row in Kelley Blue Book’s KBB.com 2013 Best Resale Value Awards for Luxury BrandTORRANCE, Calif., Nov. 26, 2012 – Lexus earned top honors in the Luxury Brand category of Kelley Blue Book’s 2013 Best Resale Value Awards. In addition to taking the luxury brand award for the second year in a row, four Lexus models won in their categories: the IS sport sedan in the Entry-Level Luxury Car category, the GS 350 sport sedan in the Luxury Car category, the RX 450h in the Hybrid SUV category and the LX 570 in the Luxury Full-Size SUV/Crossover category. The Lexus LX 570 was also in the Top 10 overall for 2013 Best Resale Value. This is the third time since the Best Resale Value: Luxury Brand award was initiated in 2009 that Lexus has won, having earned the honor for the 2010 and 2012 model years as well. (more) |

Lexus Announces Intention to Recall Certain U.S. Market Vehicles to Replace Engine Valve SpringsLexus, a division of Toyota Motor Sales, USA, Inc., today announced that it has informed the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration of its intention to file a Defect Information Report (DIR) regarding approximately 138,000 Lexus vehicles, powered by 4.6 and 5.0 liter V8 and 3.5 liter V6 engines in certain 2006, 2007 and 2008 GS, IS and LS models in the U.S. The formal report will be filed the week of July 5. Lexus Announces Prices for 2010 LS 460 and GS ModelsLexus today announced Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Prices (MSRP) for the 2010 LS 460 and LS 460 L premium luxury sedans, GS 350 and GS 460 mid-size luxury sport sedans, and GS 450h mid-size luxury sport hybrid sedan. The MSRPs do not include a delivery, processing and handling fee of $875. The GS and LS sedans will arrive at dealerships later this month. (more) |
