Ed Laukes is vice president of marketing, media, incentives and motorsports for Toyota Motor Sales (TMS), U.S.A., Inc.  His responsibilities include, media relationships, vehicle incentive strategy and motorsports relationships. His team also manages engagement marketing, auto shows and other consumer events throughout the United States. Additionally, Laukes serves as a member of the Toyota Racing Development (TRD, U.S.A.) board of directors.
Prior to his current position, Laukes was vice president of performance and guest experience for TMS. In that role, he was responsible for Toyota parts, service and accessory marketing efforts. This included consumer, dealer, supplier and regional office relationships, strategy and execution. 
Since joining Toyota in 1989, Laukes has held various positions in both the Lexus and Toyota divisions. He first served as district service and parts manager for the Lexus Central Area and held a variety of additional management positions in the field. Subsequently, he was sales and production planning manager and sales administration manager at TMS headquarters in Torrance, Calif.
In 1998, Laukes was promoted to assistant general manager and later became general manager for the Lexus Southern Area.  In this role, he was responsible for directing sales, service, parts, marketing and customer relations activities for the area.
Laukes was also general manager for the Toyota New York region.
Prior to joining Lexus, Laukes worked with Buick and American Honda.
Laukes holds a bachelor’s degree from DePaul University in Chicago, Ill.
