Tracey Doi is group vice president and chief financial officer (CFO) of Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc., the marketing, sales, distribution and customer service arm of Toyota, Lexus and Scion in the United States.
Doi is responsible for corporate finance, tax, international customs, treasury, accounting, procurement, real estate, corporate services and administration. Doi serves on the company’s audit committee and risk committee, and as an officer and director for several subsidiaries.
With a career that spans more than 20 years in finance, accounting and administration, Doi joined Toyota in 2000 as vice president, corporate controller and was appointed to CFO in 2003. Prior to that, she held financial executive positions with AT&T Wireless, L.A. Cellular Telephone Company, and L.A. Gear, Inc.
Doi earned her bachelor's degree in business economics at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and her Certified Public Accountant designation while at Arthur Andersen & Co. She completed Toyota’s executive development program affiliated with The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
Automotive News recognized Doi as one of the 100 leading women in the automotive industry in 2010. Doi was named to the 2010 Japanese American Leadership Delegation by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Japan. In 2009, Diversity Executive, Inc. recognized Doi as one of its top women in business. In 2008, Diversity Journal awarded Doi the Women Worth Watching award. Doi was presented with the Women’s Leadership Exchange 2008 Compass Award.
Doi serves on the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco’s Economic Advisory Council, the board of directors for the Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network (FAAN), the board of governors for the Japanese American National Museum, and the board of directors for the Japan America Society. She is a member of the Women Corporate Directors, the Organization of Women Executives, an executive advisor of Toyota’s business partnering groups, and former board member of the March of Dimes, California Chapter.
