Vice President and Corporate Controller - Accounting, Customs & Tax
Kennelly is responsible for TMS’ Automotive and General Accounting, Financial Reporting, Field Controls, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance as well as Accounting Services (which includes payroll, accounts receivable and incentives administration. Additionally, he has oversight responsibility for all Corporate Federal, state and local income, franchise, sales, use, excise and property tax matters. Kennelly also is responsible for all U.S. Customs and Export Controls matters.
Kennelly joined Toyota in 2004 as Corporate Tax Manager after holding Senior Tax Management positions at General Motors Corporation and a five-year career with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Detroit.
Kennelly earned a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Oakland University in Rochester Hills, Michigan, and a Law Degree from Wayne State Law School in Detroit, Michigan. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Michigan State Bar.
