Vice President, Knowledge Resources
Kramer is responsible for Global Knowledge Center’s (GKC) operations and promotes its mission to internalize “The Toyota Way” philosophy in the company’s sales and marketing practices. In his role, he oversees the facilitation of knowledge building, sharing of global best practices and continuous process improvement with key overseas distributors’ sales organizations. He is also responsible for University of Toyota support services for as closer relationships are developed between the colleges and the divisional operating groups.
Previously, Kramer held a number of positions, including corporate manager of distributors and public companies, corporate manager of distributions operations, general manager of Toyota’s Denver Region, assistant general manager and field operations manager of the Toyota Kansas City Region and TMS sales administration manager. Kramer also served as market representation manager, senior assistant general manager and general manager of Toyota's Chicago Region.
Prior to joining Toyota in 1982, Kramer held various field and management positions with Chrysler Motor Corporation.
Kramer earned a bachelor's degree in speech communications from Illinois State University in Normal, Ill.
